The pig was being persuasive by reminding the animals that "It is all lies. Old Major wanted everyone to feel like he does not have a choice because it is something that has to be done.Ģ.
He wanted to make it a statement that he needed to do this. Old Major felt that it was his credibility to make a statement so he exclaimed to the animals that "Before I die, I feel it my duty to pass on to you such wisdom as I have acquired"(4). The fact that this is true makes it seem like the animals are being treated terrible.ġ. It is fact that no animal is to live past this time and Old major is making this a point. All animals know that pigs don't last more than a certain time and Old Major made it clear that "You young porkers who are sitting in front of me, every one of you will scream your lives out at the block within a year" (6). The human do not realize how many animals they actually kill in the long run.Ģ. It is true that all animal dies only because they are killed for the human. It is a fact that "No animal escapes the cruel knife in the end" (6). Although in one country they can love their government deeply, studies have shown that their is hardly any to no people that think positively about our government in the United States of America.ġ. The key to a good government tends to be trust and loyalty and perhaps that is something that the United States lacks. Although in China people may like their government, many facts have proven that we have more negative feelings towards our government. And nearly half see government as a threat to their rights and freedoms" (Amy). Mount Holyoke College conducted a survey that shows the total opposite of what is going on in China because, "Only 29% trust the government to do what is right always or most of the time. Most citizens in our country have minor problems with out government but the loyalty will always be there.
Most have found that because they are so close with the people of China, the citizens have more trust in their government. China's government is based on the trust and loyalty that it has with its citizens. The Chinese people conducted a survey that would help them improve their government and found that, "Satisfaction levels tend to rise as government gets closer to the people" (Drysdale). Most people lean more on the negative side while talking about their feelings towards the government but China has different thoughts.
